Art
Watercolor is my beloved art form when it comes to paints and paper. I enjoy free-hand drawing with waterproof pens, followed by painting with watercolor. I love the way that watercolor makes me accept imperfection and the “water” part of water color can be hard to control. It is therapeutic for me when my paintings change in ways I did not expect, sometimes for the better.
I also enjoy painting with acrylics and exploring collage art. My mentor when it comes to painting are my uncle Kirk who told me I see the world in a unique way when I was young, and should keep creating. He was an amazing artist and inspired me with his versatility and creativity. I am self-taught and much of my art is centered around natural themes.
I entered my first art show in 2023 and have grown exponentially as an artist over the past year. I hope to continue to learn and grow, and thank you for allowing me to share my art with you.
